The Continuum Site Plan and Facilities
The Continuum site plan & facilities are a graphical representation of unit distribution and orientation, and the location of communal facilities across the development.
The Continuum comprising of four blocks of 17-storeys and two blocks of 18-storey buildings with two basement carparks, swimming pools, and communal facilities. Conservation of an existing single-storey bungalow known as Thiam Siew House will be converted into a clubhouse, injecting a new lease of life while restoring its heritage value after the revamp. It is one of the clubhouses located on the Northern plot of the development. Another brand-new clubhouse (South Side Social) will be erected at the Southern plot. A private overhead bridge known as Continuum Bridge will be built on the roof terrace of the brand-new clubhouse connecting the two plots of land (North Continuum and South Continuum).
The developer plans to widen Thiam Siew Avenue road, with selected trees and manicured landscape with public seating pod. The two entrances are well positioned away at two corners of the sites to avoid congestion during the peak hours. Another thoughtful design is that the back-of-house facilities such as the electrical substation, MDF room and bin centre are located in the basement and thus none of the units face them.
Blocks are designed in a linear format with North-South facing orientation for better ventilation by capturing the prevailing wind. Blocks 2 and 5 are the premium blocks with lesser units per level and whereas the bigger units such as the 4- and 5-bedder with private lifts are held. These two blocks are inched out towards Thiam Siew Avenue to maximise the view around the landscape, pools, city, and sea views.
The Continuum Roof Plan
The communal facilities and landscaping are not limited to the ground level but they also extend to the roof on either side of the development. Sky Gardens North and South are perched at the top of the blocks and are interlinked with sky bridges. 2 sky bridges linking blocks 1 and 3 & blocks 6 and 8 respectively, forming the Sky Gardens landscape deck. Besides being lined with green and spa pools, each sky Garden is equipped with an indoor and outdoor gym, and an air-conditioned resting lounge at BBQ pavilion and is completed with a Sky Bar or Sky Club.
Residents can enjoy the city skyline view from Sky Gardens. Below is the aerial 360 drone view that features a panoramic view of the surrounding.
